Divorced father buys his only son a luxury car for his 16th birthday, sparking conflict with his ex-wife, who demands that he buy equivalent gifts for her new husband's children: 'With the money, you could have gotten all three kids cars'

Here's something new…This couple has one child together and got divorced before he had even entered the world. She got remarried and has two additional stepchildren with her new husband. Perfect, sounds okay, right? Wrong. This mother believes that just because her husband has a great relationship with their shared son, spending time with him, buying him gifts, and taking him on vacations, means that he should do the equivalent for her NEW husband's kids! Sorry, I really had to emphasize that there, so you get the full picture. 


So when he purchases their son a luxury car for his 16th birthday, his ex-wife throws a fit! Claiming he could have used that money to buy all of her kids' cars or towards something for their future! Listen, we're all for a little Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Blended moment, but this is a whole other level of entitlement…She claimed wanting a husband that was less career-driven and more focused on 'following his heart'... Well, it seems like their father is maybe 'following his heart' a little too much… especially if they're expecting her ex-husband to take on the role as the provider!
